Health Trust Positively Speaking program allows HIV positive individuals to tell their story.

Overview

Positively Speaking is a speakers bureau composed of HIV Positive individuals. We provide well-trained speakers to present at schools, colleges, churches, businesses, etc. Positively Speakers narrate their personal stories about HIV infection, putting a human face to the devastating disease. Topics covered during our presentations are basic facts about HIV, life before and after diagnosis, and prevention messages.

Our Mission:

Positively Speaking's mission is to help reduce the HIV infection rate in Santa Clara County by helping people understand the true toll HIV/AIDS has on people by putting a human face on the issue, by fighting the stigma associated with the disease, and by delivering prevention messages.
