Health Trust Positively Speaking program allows HIV positive individuals to tell their story.

Become a Speaker

You will receive specialized training to help you deliver your story effectively. A complete application must be on file before a speaker is allowed to attend their first engagement. Along with the packet available above, potential speakers must also go through a background check, be fingerprinted and pass a TB test (all of which is easily processed through The Health Trust and the Coordinator).

Under-represented groups (Latinos, Blacks, Asian/Pacific Islanders, Women, Middle Easterners, etc.) are extremely encouraged to join our team

Contact the Positively Speaking Coordinator to express your interest in learning more about the program.

To speak in middle schools or high schools you must be able to pass a background check (please still consider becoming a speaker even if you know you have a record because you may still be allowed to speak to adult audiences such as college students or other audiences - just not to minors).
