Detailed Services

  • Compliance
    • Processing accounting transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Standards and OMB circular A-133 standards in support of independent CPA audits
    • Preparation of data for CPA's during their independent audit as appropriate
    • Processing property tax forms
    • Legal maintenance and protection of records and data
    • Preparation of supporting documentation for independent tax preparers for purposes of filing Form 990's, 199's and the RRF-1
    • Annual coordination with payroll service for issuance of W-2's. We will issue 1099's
    • Attendance at Board of Director, Finance Committee and Audit Committee meetings as requested
    • Other compliance issues as discussed
  • Budget Management and Analysis
    • Annual preparation of the organizational budget
    • Making budget modifications as necessary
    • Reasonable financial analysis as necessary
  • Accounting Services
    • Creation of chart of accounts and fund accounting structure
    • Creation of appropriate authorization documents that interface between programs and accounting
    • Contract/grant invoicing in compliance with requirements
    • Accounts receivable/processing
    • Utilization of The Health Trust's general ledger system
    • Monthly bank reconciliations
    • Accounts payable check processing
    • Review of program invoices against agreed upon standards
    • Payroll processing of timesheets (ordinarily done by the company). We are back-up
    • Appropriate on-site training of program staff as necessary
    • Coordinated courier service will be provided as necessary
  • Financial Reporting
    • Preparation of monthly Statement of Activities including variances against budget
    • Preparation of monthly Statement of Financial Position
    • Preparation of monthly Statement of Cash Flows
    • Preparation of monthly Statement of Investments
    • Preparation of monthly Schedule of Restricted Assets
