Last night at their annual awards dinner the Silicon Valley Business Journal awarded Health Trust CFO Ira Holtzman “CFO of the Year” in the nonprofit category. Holtzman was recognized for his outstanding work supporting the financial administration of numerous nonprofits in Silicon Valley as well as The Health Trust. Through the Health Trust’s Financial and Administrative Support Services (FASS), Holtzman and his staff of 17 assist 30 local nonprofits with their accounting needs.

We are so thrilled Ira has been recognized for his amazing work and dedication not only here at The Health Trust, but also as a leader in our community,” says Health Trust CEO Frederick J. Ferrer.

The brainchild of Holtzman, FASS started five years ago and frees nonprofits from the day-to-day financial tasks so they can focus on providing direct services to the community.

“Ira and his team have built capacity for dozens of Valley nonprofits over the years,” says Ferrer. They are not only well respected but well loved.
