Health Trust's Mario Tercero Speaks on Obesity, Diabetes

November 9, 2008, OAKLAND, CA - As a result of the growing obesity epidemic, Nuestros Ninos, a radio show dedicated to helping mothers and fathers be better parents, brought in three members of the community to talk to families about the issue.  Dr. Dan Delgado, a pediatrician with the Pediatric Healthy Lifestyle Center, Susan Armenta, a world champion speedwalker and Program Director for Bay Area Women's Sports Initiative (BAWSI), and Mario Tercero, Program Supervisor with The Health Trust all spoke on the importance of eating well and maintaining an active lifestyle for children.
